How many guests can The River View accommodate?

The River View comfortably hosts up to 250 guests, though your exact capacity depends on the room and set-up style you choose — a seated dinner, a dance floor, or a full ceremony-to-reception flip. Browse our room descriptions to see capacity by space.

Do you offer wedding packages?

Yes. The River View offers customizable wedding packages built around your guest count, season, and vision, so your day reflects your budget and your style — not a one-size-fits-all package. View more information about our wedding packages and menus.

What's included in a wedding package?

Every package includes your room fee, food and beverage, linens, a dedicated wedding coordinator, service charge (a staffing fee, separate from gratuity), event insurance, and applicable tax — so the number you see up front is close to the number you'll pay.

What's included in my minimum spend?

Your minimum spend includes both your room fee and your food and beverage costs — every dollar you spend on your space and your menu counts toward it. There's no separate, stacked fee on top.

Do you offer micro wedding packages?

Yes. Sunday through Thursday, we offer a range of micro wedding packages for $5,000 or less — a full River View wedding, right-sized for smaller guest counts and weekday dates.

What is your event minimum for non-wedding events?

For events other than weddings — such as corporate gatherings, showers, celebrations of life — our minimum spend starts at $1,500.

Do you offer buffet or plated meals?

Yes. The River View offers both buffet and plated meal options, and our chef can build either style around your guest count and vision.

Do you offer tastings for wedding menus?

Yes. Once you've booked, you're invited to a Sunday afternoon tasting to sample most items from your chosen menu style — buffet or plated. It's also your chance to see table set-ups, explore linen colors and napkin folds, talk bar options with our bar manager, and meet your coordinator and servers. The tasting is complimentary for the couple; additional guests are welcome for $50 each.

What kind of bar packages do you offer?

We offer a Cash Bar (guests pay their own tab) and a Hosted Bar (one person covers the full tab), along with 3-, 4-, and 5-hour packages for unlimited drinks per guest across Beer & Wine, Standard, and Premium tiers.

Can your bar manager create custom cocktails?

Yes. Our bar manager will help design a drink menu around your event's theme and can build custom, signature cocktails to add a personal touch to your celebration.

Can we have both our ceremony and reception at The River View?

Yes — many couples host their entire wedding weekend with us, from rehearsal dinner through a Sunday farewell brunch. A popular flow: ceremony in our Hops Room, cocktails and dinner in our Barley Room, then our team flips the Hops Room into a dance floor while you're at dinner. Do you offer outdoor wedding and event spaces?

Yes. Many couples choose our rooftop for their ceremony or cocktail hour, and the Hops Room's floor-to-ceiling windows open fully to create a covered, open-air patio experience.

Does The River View have a view of the river?

Yes — The River View is a wedding and event venue directly on the water in Frankenmuth, with panoramic views of the Cass River and its historic covered bridge.

Do you have space for a bridal shower or rehearsal dinner?

Yes. The Doxie Room and The Terrace, both on the Brewery level, are popular spaces for showers and rehearsal dinners paired with your River View event. View more details about our Unique Spaces.

What kind of tables and chairs do you have?

We have round tables that seat 6 to 10 guests and rectangular tables that seat 6 to 20, along with standard banquet chairs for dining and foldable white chairs for ceremonies.

Who is on the service team for my event?

Your Banquets Director is your first point of contact and guides you through planning from start to finish. Your Coordinator manages your tasting, rehearsal, and day-of details. Our Bar Manager builds your drink packages and specialty cocktails. And our Chef — who can accommodate allergies and dietary restrictions — leads a kitchen team dedicated to keeping your food service on time and on point.

Do you offer in-house decorating?

While decorating is not a direct service at The River View, we recommend Hollie Falasz of Fancy Perfect Occasions, a local designer who works within your budget to bring your vision to life.

Do you have relationships with local hotels?

What else can wedding and event guests do in Frankenmuth?

Can I host an event with you other than weddings?

Can you accommodate business meetings and corporate events?

Yes. We regularly host corporate gatherings, employee appreciation events, fundraisers, and informational fairs, with A/V equipment — screens, projectors, and microphones — available for your use. Visit our Corporate Events page for packages.
